2018 State Championship June 10 Burt Mullett Lakes
TBF of Michigan 2018 State Championship is scheduled for Sunday, June 10 at Burt and Mullett Lakes launching from Marina Park on the Indian River (River St. and Nabanois Trail). This event is the day after the BFL also fishing Burt and Mullett. Since you’re already going to be up there, why not fish the BFL on Saturday as well?
Entry deadline is June 5th. Entry fees are remain $125* for boaters and $75* for co-anglers (*includes big bass). There will be a mandatory pre-tournament meeting Saturday evening, June 9 after the BFL event. Check-in time will be announced at this pre-tournament meeting. Launch may be 6 AM. More details to come. Tournament waters go off limits at the end of registration, Saturday, June 9, 2018.
10% of the entry fees will be held to cover tournament expenses (we are using the BFL weigh-in equipment and trailer for this tournament). A percentage of the entry fees may be put towards the entry fees and a stipend for boaters and co-anglers who qualify for the 2018 TBF National Semi-Final (stipend and amount depends on participation).
Participants entering linked as a boater – co-angler pair will be assured of their respective boater or co-angler positions and participation. You will not fish with who you signed up with. You will go into the random draw. TBF of Michigan cannot guarantee those boaters who do not enter with a linked co-angler won’t be drawn with another boater though we will do our best to avoid this.
The top 12 TBF of Michigan members in the standings at the end of this State Championship will qualify for the September 22-23, 2018 TBF National Semi-Final against the Ohio Bass Federation on Ohio waters of Lake Erie out of Sandusky Bay.
