The 2019 TBF of Michigan Jr. State Championship is Sunday, June 9 on Lake Ponemah.
- Jr. Youth Tournament Format Changed to Team - January 29, 2018
The Bass Federation, Inc. recently changed the Jr. Youth fishing format from individual to 2-person team. The Junior World Championship will now be a team tournament format running 2 days instead of 1.

The 2018 TBF of Michigan Jr. State Championship is Sunday, June 17 at Pontiac Lake from the state recreation area launch.

- 2016 Jr State Championship Halfmoon Lake - May 22, 2016
The 2016 TBF of Michigan Junior State Championship is Sunday, June 5 at Halfmoon Lake in Pinckney, Michigan. The bass tournament for 11 to 15 year olds will start at 7am and end at 1pm. Check-in begins at 6am.

Danny Sprague and Matt Davis won the two 2012 TBF of Michigan Jr. State Championship bass tournament age groups on Pontiac Lake June 9th to advance to the National Guard Junior National Championship on Lake Lanier in Georgia.

The 2012 TBF of Michigan Jr state championship will be held Saturday, June 9 on Pontiac Lake. Entry fee remains $20 per TBF Jr member 11 – 18 years old. Cost for non-TBF Jr members is $25.00 which includes membership in the Student Angler Federation.

The Bass Federation Inc. (TBF) is partnering with FLW Outdoors to host the 2012 Michigan High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be held on Sunday June 24th at Lake St Clair.
